Weekend Sailing In The Koh Chang Archipelago for Only US$185.00 All Inclusive.

On the first day we provide lunch on board the boat and set-dinner in a small restaurant on one of the islands. On the second day we provide an American breakfast and lunch on board the boat.
For dinner we stop the bus on the way back to Bangkok if you want (cost not included). If you are vegetarian, or have any special dietary requirements, or have any medical conditions, please let us know.

We provide a skipper, so no sailing experience is required. However, if you do sail or wish to learn it is easy to take part in the action.
We generally sail from Laem Ngop to Ko Maak and stay the night moored by the island's shore. We often dine on this island and visit either Ko Wai or Ko Rang on the way back, to snorkel or explore the island (or a bar). This itinerary is dependent on the weather.

The weekend package is priced THB 6,500 per person on the Shearwater and THB 8,500 per person on the Thida. 
Once you have booked a trip with us we will send you a confirmation letter explaining our methods of payment, things to bring and the meeting time and place for the commencement of your trip.

This package is not a private trip and so if you do not have the numbers to fill up the boat then you must know that other people can join the trip.

To run a sailing trip we require a minimum of 4 people and can take a maximum of 6-8 people per boat for overnight trips (optimal are 5 people on Shearwater and 6 people on Thida).
We can accommodate larger numbers than this, so please bring it to our notice so we can organize appropriate accommodation.

If you have less than 4 people, then we can take your booking and confirm when we have enough people to fill the boat.

If we cannot find enough people to fill the boat, than it is possible for you to pay the price for 4 people and run the trip.

Facts about: TIDA

The Thida, a Celestial 44', is a classic ketch, 13.70 m long.

She has a long keel and her very strong rig together with a weight of 17 tons makes her a safe boat even in very rough seas.

The reef point with 100% Genoa is at a wind speed of about 30 knots.

Built in 1986 in Pattaya, her teak furnishing was designed for charter. Two aft- and a bow cabin provide comfort for up to 6 persons. In the two aft cabins you will find hand basins, the bathroom with shower and toilet is located just next to the bow cabin. The spacious saloon is for up to 8 persons and can be, as well as the cabins, cooled by two air-conditions.

The pantry is not lacking anything, a stove, microwave and grill, refrigerator and freezer with 200 liter each, everything is there including 220 V. The design of the pantry assures a safe stand even in rough sea. The stereo's speaker system allows listening to music not only in the saloon and the cabins but on deck, too. All walk- and seat areas are made from teak.

The center cockpit provides enough space for six. Main- and mizzen sail are equipped with a conventional reef, the Genoa with a roll reef

Should the wind abate, sports-manlike sailors can set the spinnaker.
When there is no wind at all, or if the boat has to be maneuvered, it is equipped with a 68 HP Volvo-Penta engine.
