We provide a skipper, so no sailing experience is required. However, if you do sail or wish to learn it is easy to take part in the action.
We generally sail from Laem Ngop to Ko Maak and stay the night moored by the island's shore. We often dine on this island and visit either Ko Wai or Ko Rang on the way back, to snorkel or explore the island (or a bar). This itinerary is dependent on the weather. The weekend package is priced THB 6,500 per person on the Shearwater and THB 8,500 per person on the Thida. Once you have booked a trip with us we will send you a confirmation letter explaining our methods of payment, things to bring and the meeting time and place for the commencement of your trip. This package is not a private trip and so if you do not have the numbers to fill up the boat then you must know that other people can join the trip. To run a sailing trip we require a minimum of 4 people and can take a maximum of 6-8 people per boat for overnight trips (optimal are 5 people on Shearwater and 6 people on Thida).
We can accommodate larger numbers than this, so please bring it to our notice so we can organize appropriate accommodation. If you have less than 4 people, then we can take your booking and confirm when we have enough people to fill the boat. If we cannot find enough people to fill the boat, than it is possible for you to pay the price for 4 people and run the trip. |
